American Red Cross Classes
For individuals and employers who need adult CPR training only, this hands-on skills training prepares participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. For those desiring certification on the AED, an Adult CPR with AED version is available as an expanded 4-hour course.
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
This class is intended for individuals who are expected to respond to emergencies as part of their job-related duties such as health care professionals, lifeguards, police officers, security guards, park rangers, etc. This course includes AED and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR skills. In addition, it includes specialized skills and techniques for two-rescuer CPR, special rescue situations, and the use of resuscitation masks.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
This course teaches individuals currently certified in Adult CPR how to safely use an AED to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest and familiarizes you with the many types of AEDs that might be encountered in an emergency.
Standard First Aid with Adult, Child, & Infant CPR
One of our most thorough courses as it combines many of these individual courses. This is a great course to meet community and industry needs. This course combines lectures, demonstrations and video with hands-on training and practice. Participants learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies for adults, children and infants, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses, and poisonings. Additionally, participants will learn first aid for everything from cuts and scrapes to muscle, bone and joint injuries. This comprehensive course includes your certification for both First Aid and for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR with AED and meets both OSHA requirements and the Kansas State first aid requirements for Day Care Workers.
Standard First Aid (OSHA)
Prepare yourself and your staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This course covers OSHA requirements for First Aid training. Standard First Aid can be combined with Adult CPR and AED in a 6 ½ hour course.
Adult, Child, & Infant CPR
(~ 5 Hours)
Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children, this course prepares participants to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 8 years. Infant CPR is also available separately as a 3 ½ hour course that applies to infants up to 12 months old; Child CPR (4 hours) is available separately and applies to children age 1 to 8 years old.
Pediatric First Aid & CPR (Infant)

One of our most popular courses as this course meets the Kansas State First Aid certification requirements for Day Care Workers. This course combines lectures, demonstrations and video with hands-on training and practice. Participants in this course learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, breathing emergencies, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses, poisonings, cuts and scrapes, and muscle, bone and joint injuries. Additionally, participants will learn preventative and safety measures applicable to infants and toddlers.
Sport Safety Training
The American Red Cross and the United States Olympic Committee have joined forces to develop an exciting coarse for coaches who want to keep their athletes safe. This course covers emergency action plans, positive coaching skills, sports-related injury prevention, first aid care, and Adult CPR. An optional Child CPR component may be added. This course is a must for coaches and officials involved in youth sports as well as for parents of youth athletes.
Wilderness First Aid
Prepare yourself with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses when you are in the wilderness or when advanced medical personnel are delayed or cannot be contacted such as in a natural disaster or while in a remote area. This course meets the the new First Aid requirement for all Boy Scout high adventure treks and includes When Help is Delayed course materiel. Participants will receive Mountaineering First Aid text, When Help is Delayed text, Participant's Manual, first aid supplies, and a Red Cross Certification Card valid for 3 years. Wear comfortable clothes as this course include plenty of "hands-on" training and role playing as both a victim and as a responder. This course does NOT include CPR training.
